HEIDELBERG Road crosses Merri Creek on the back of a bluestone bridge. The road is hectic, six lanes wide, lined with factories and service stations. The creek running below it is boundaried by the Yarra Bend Park, part of the Yarra trail that roams through to Warrandyte. It's a place both feral and civilised.
