COLLINGWOOD fans have vowed to be at their feral worst when their former boy wonder, Chris Tarrant, plays his first game for Fremantle against the Magpies at the MCG tonight.

Unofficial Magpies cheerleader Joffa said yesterday that the black and white army was proudly feral and was preparing to make Tarrant wish he had never been part of a trade swap with former Docker Paul Medhurst at the end of last year.

"If Chrissy Tarrant was returning to Victoria Park in a Fremantle jumper, he'd pull a late hamstring injury because there's no way known he'd want to come back here and front the Collingwood faithful," Joffa, or Jeff Corfe, said.

"Even at the MCG there will be nowhere to hide because he's an enemy now with a club who wants to beat Collingwood and we don't like that. There's no love for those who defect from Collingwood and if he happened to kick the matchwinning goal, we'll tear the Ponsford Stand down.

"No one will be blowing kisses to Chris at the weekend and he will be packing himself. As a person, a nice bloke; in a Collingwood jumper, a lovelier bloke; but in a Fremantle jumper, not a nice bloke.

"Yes, we're feral and we know we're hated, but we have strong priorities in life and it's Collingwood, then it's family."

Joffa, whose gold celebration jacket and "Game Over" sign has become a well-known feature of Collingwood wins, has been a fan since 1962. He said Medhurst had immediately become a better bloke with his trade to the Lexus Centre.

"We hated him and I've told him, too," he said. "He was like a pop star at Subiaco and I remember going over to one game and you were just sick of hearing Medhurst, Medhurst, Medhurst. But he looks a lot better in the black and white than purple crap."

ON SONG FOR TAZZA

To the tune of Waltzing Matilda

Once a younger Tazza played with the Magpies squad

Along with some greats of the Magpies team

And he played until dropped and all because his temper boiled

Who'll come and play at Fremantle with me?

Come along old Sollo it's Tazza you will follow

Who else wants to play at the Dockers with me?

And his past may be heard as you pass by the MCG

Who'll come and play at Fremantle with me?

To the tune of We Wish You A Merry Christmas

We're glad you?ve got Chrissy Tarrant

We're glad you?ve got Chrissy Tarrant

We're glad you?ve got Chrissy Tarrant

In your football team

He drops lots of marks and misses the goals

We're glad you?ve got Chrissy Tarrant in your football team
