MASTER stayers mentor Diane Poidevin-Laine (pictured) will attempt to chalk up another win over the 2400m trip with the quirky Feral Errol in the Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club Rating 70 Handicap at Kembla Grange on Saturday.

"He is a funny horse," Poidevin-Laine said. "He wants things his own way and you have to work with him rather than stand over him.

"If he is happy he will just stand in the stable without being tied up and you can walk away from him and he will be there when you get back. He is very strange."

Feral Errol finished a luckless fourth to Iguazu over 2100m at Goulburn on August 15.

"He will be even better suited at Kembla," Poidevin-Laine said.
